Dinos Petroyannis, 87, points out his picture on a poster designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the arrival of exiles from the Greek mainland to the island of Ikaria.
Though the exiles were political prisoners, they were greeted as friends and guests by islanders.
Petroyannis had been a Communist partisan during World War II.

The graphic designer of the poster and also the curator of the exhibition with the title "IKARIA 1947-1997, 50 years after" with photographs and documents is Manolis Kasimatis phototipographer and member of association no profit FOTOGRAFIZONTAS.

Η αφισσα ειναι σχεδιαση του Μανώλη Κασιματη οπως και η επιμελεια της εκθεσης φωτογραφίας και ντοκουμεντων που εγινε επι την ευκαιρια των πενηντα χρονων απο την πρωτη αφιξη των πολιτικων εξοριστων στο νησί.
